The WordFamily (WordFam) is an open, welcoming writing community based in Australia. The WordFam welcomes members as writers first and interesting people second, because writing is what connects us. We embrace a broad spectrum of people, supporting and encouraging year-round writing habits balanced with busy lives.

 

The WordFam holds regular events both in-person and online. There is a wealth of help and resources available for writers of all kinds. We believe there is no one right way to write: we value everyone's writing, writing process, and ambitions. We support the social side of writing and discussing stories, along with providing practical advice and tools. We love to celebrate our members' successes whether they be big or small!
